Here Comes The Sun, Little Darlin'...

Like a glass of cold water after a long run.

Our sun shone yesterday to begin our week in what could only be described as a perfect way.

Tait's First Ever attempt on the tire swing was a success.
The worn rope reminds me of childhood fun.
Like the laugh lines on an old woman's face, the frayed rope silently tells of years of play.
Hours of joy are spoken without a word.
Anyone who passes understands.

And while they started with shoes, socks, pants, underwear, and vests on...
they were soon stripped.

One after the other.

As if metaphorically shedding our winter blues.

Thoughts of snow, rain, and grey were left with their clothes and heat was the goal of the morning.

Oh - how I love this old tire swing.
Can't you just feel the summer?
