After a rather incredibly awfully
sad week, we had the pleasure of being invited out on a field trip. The boys and I got an early start to our Saturday, left Ben at home to work around the house, and joined a friend who quite possibly had an even more sad week. And, while I am convinced that we all need to work through our sadness and "change" in order to adjust to our new routines after
a loss, I am equally confident in the fact that we need to pre-occupy ourselves with fun.
New Adventures.
Happiness.
Change of Scene.
Peace.
Today we found these elements - crucial in the healing process - at the Goldstream Provincial Park and in the friendship of the world's sweetest friend, Tracy.
Oh - And A Little Ice Cream Never Hurt, Either.

Sorry to hear things are so sad! I hope your week gets better and you can resolve whatever is. I'll be thinking about you!
It is great to see photos though. I haven't seen one of you in a long while and you look exactly like you did 11 years ago! I love your little family.
